ABOUT US
It started at mom's piano as she sang songs with schoolchildren...then wearing out the family hi-fi speakers, soon after joining a band!… I sang and played in school, church, show choir, musicals, talent shows, dances, band battles, country, swing, rock and tribute bands! Studied music at Atlanta Institute of Music, University of Rio Grande, and RecW. Founded Oak Ridge Music recording studio in 1995. Black Tie DJ and ULTIMATE Wedding Band came next! Our passion is GREAT SOUND! We've completed 200+ recording sessions, hundreds of AV installs, dozens of video shoots, 500+ live shows so far. We've acquired great sound/light and recording tech and the knowhow to deploy it. We collaborated with and opened for dozens of national and regional acts. Our entertainers appeared on TV, radio, and various compilation CDs. Our relationships with musicians, entertainers, engineers runs deep.

Modern Technology
Oak Ridge Music uses the latest production hardware and software for live field applications and studio work. We use EV, Carvin and Nady speakers and amps; Blue, Shure, AKG and Neuman mics; Alesis, Akai and Pioneer mixers with ProTools Professional, Spotify Premium, Apple Music, BandLab and RekordBox software suites.
Musician Know-How
Music is art and science. Our musicians, Host MCs, and engineers have completed hundreds of training hours in music theory and performance, audio mixing and mastering, public presenting, software, AV production hardware and maintenance.
